Community Guidelines

Last updated · May 2026

MeetSpace is the kind of community we'd all like dating to feel like. Calm, respectful, honest. These are the simple rules that keep it that way.

Be respectful

Treat everyone the way you'd want to be treated. Disagreement is fine; rudeness, name-calling, and condescension are not. A good rule of thumb: would you say it to someone face to face?

No harassment

Repeated, unwanted contact is harassment. So is sexual messaging without consent, persistent pressure, or trying to find someone's profile after they've stepped away. Don't do it.

No hate speech

Content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other identity has no place here. Neither do hateful symbols or slurs.

Be the real you

Use your real first name, recent photos that show your face, and accurate details about yourself. Impersonating someone else, using AI-generated photos as if they were real, or deliberately misrepresenting your age, gender, or relationship status will get your account removed.

No scams, no solicitation

MeetSpace is not a place to sell things, solicit funds, recruit for businesses, or run any kind of scam. This includes romance scams, crypto pitches, MLM recruiting, and adult services. Accounts that do this are removed without warning.

Adults only

You must be 18 or older to be on MeetSpace. Any content that sexualizes minors is reported to the relevant authorities and results in an immediate, permanent ban.

No coercion or dangerous behaviour

Threats, blackmail, pressuring someone into meeting, drug supply, or any kind of dangerous coercion are zero-tolerance issues.

Respect privacy

Don't screenshot and share other people's profiles or messages publicly. Don't share someone's contact details, address, or photos outside of MeetSpace without their consent.

How enforcement works

Most issues get a warning and a chance to learn. Serious or repeated violations result in account removal. We review every report manually — usually within 24 hours.

How to report

Tap the report button on a profile or in a chat. Or email safety@meetspace.app. Reports are confidential.

Thank you for helping make MeetSpace a place worth being part of.
